Finish work is as much a mindset as it is a skill set.

Our Mission…

At Headwaters Home Finishing we believe in treating every job with integrity and a commitment to the clients expectations. Contracting is something that makes some people feel uneasy for a number of reasons: maybe they had a bad past experience or maybe they are uneasy about the cost and potential problems. It takes a lot of trust to have a stranger work in your personal spaces which is why we try to be as honest and transparent as possible from the bid process to project completion. This mentality is what we believe builds trust and reputation which are cornerstones to running a local small business.

A little story about the owner…

I moved to Bozeman in the summer of 2006 to study Chemistry at MSU. Painting started off as a summer job with a reputable and local painting company. After several years as a summer laborer I turned my skills into a full time job as foreman on the paint crew. . During that 10+ years I learned just about everything there is to know about painting and also honed in a full set of skills which gave me the confidence to do things my way. After 10+ years working for this contractor, it was time to leave the nest and try my hand at self employment and that was the birth of Headwaters Home Finishing. Along the way I was able to work for a general contractor where I learned some basics about tile setting. Once I got a taste of this process I was hooked. Since then I have spent countless hours trying to educate myself about tile materials, tools and processes. I have been in the trades for nearly 20 years now and I am one of the lucky ones that truly enjoys their work!
